This book introduces what a Supermarket looks like. This book is great for naming different kinds of food we buy in the supermarket. Vocabulary targeted here are: wallet, coins/money, basket, buy, pay, shop and many many more.
If a child does not know them yet, the picture puzzles are great in sustaining their attention as you do "Info Talk". Young children would need adult supervision to help them fit the puzzles in.
Older children can start answering questions such as What do you buy in the supermarket? What do you need to bring when grocery shopping?
